I love people, and my interpersonal skills have helped me excel as a collaborator. I’m a strong writer and post producer; I have directing experience, I can assist with script analysis, and am comfortable communicating with and collaborating with all departments. I can shape content with no or minimal direction, I will support and enhance your vision for the project, and I will bring options to you that you may never have considered.

“Boy Wonder.” 2010. Associate editor. Indie thriller starring Zulay Henao and Caleb Steinmeyer, Assisted editor Ray Hubley (Dead Man Walking.) Responsible for cutting scenes as needed, synching, organizing, and distributing RED dailies for Ray and on-set personnel, supervising Xsan installation, and hiring and managing a crew of volunteer assistant editors.
“Ice Queens” 2009. TV doc following three teenage ice skaters competing for regional finals that aim for the Olympics. The teens are tested by the pressures of competition and the high expectations of their families and themselves.
“Carnival Roots” 2001. Dirs. Peter Chelkowski, Jason Benjamin. Whitney Biennial 2006. Music-driven feature documentary that follows steel drum bands, calypso singers, stick fighters, voodoo priests, traditional masked dancers, and partiers throughout Carnival in Trinidad. Edited film for 6 months before starting film school; film completed by editor Meg Reticker.
“Alma” (Editor and Post Supervisor) 1998-2000. Dir. Ruth Leitman. Whitney Biennial 2000, Hamptons Film Festival Best Documentary, Women In the Director’s Chair, SXSW. Feature documentary follows a complex relationship between a blue-collar mother and daughter, and discovers that love still remains despite a dark history of mental illness, alcoholism, and sexual abuse.

“Broccoli” (Director/Editor) Velma becomes a raw-food vegetarian to impress her new European beau, but soon realizes her best girlfriend is more appetizing company.

Teenagers struggle to achieve an unlikely goal with the help of an MTV coach.
Lifetime Television: Mom’s Cooking, Season 1. Edited pilot that sold series. Responsible for opening and staffing office, managing 10 editors and 3 assistants on a daily cooking show. Worked with editors to maintain high-quality storytelling and consistent editorial style in each episode. Acted as finishing editor, supervised mixes, color correction and final layoffs as needed. Delivered 30 episodes on-budget under tight deadlines.
Lifetime Televison: Mom’s Cooking, pilot. Structured, wrote, and edited cooking show pilot. Picked up for 30 episodes.
DIY Network: Under Construction, Season 1-2. Editedhome improvement docu-soap about two Brooklyn contractors. Wrote all interview and voiceover content as part of structuring material; conducted interviews with hosts; collaborated with EP and series producer on storylines. Series was #1 on network in 2008.
VH1: TRANSform Me. Makeover show with three transgender hosts, including Laverne Cox, now of Orange Is The New Black.
VH1: I Want to Work for Diddy. Contestants fight for a job with P. Diddy, along the lines of "The Apprentice".
